What’s your role at AICCRA and the journey that led you here?

At AICCRA, I represent the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT Board that is legally in charge of the program vis à vis World Bank. As a scientist involved in food systems and climate change, I am very enthusiastic about AICCRA, its team, its commitments and its projects.

I connect AICCRA with our Alliance Board so that it is well informed about the way AICCRA is developing its actions in several countries in Africa.

Tell us why you think AICCRA can help deliver a climate-smart future for Africa?

I am very confident AICCRA can help deliver a climate-smart future for Africa as it is based on a bunch of impressive research outcomes from the CGIAR research Centers that need to be validated, adapted and scaled up in partnership with local organisations.

The network with partners is already partly in place, the research teams have a lot of experience and the management of the program, coordinated by Ana Maria Loboguerrero is very dedicated, dynamic, and inclusive. A good recipe for succeeding!
