AICCRA Ghana | Unlocking the potential of inclusive, climate-smart innovations and finance for healthier crops, environment and people
About this event
Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) is a new project that expands access to climate information services and climate-smart agriculture to farmers across Africa.
Supported with a grant from the International Development Association of the World Bank, it is led by the Alliance Bioversity and CIAT.
Join us in this public forum to find out more about the AICCRA's ambitions in Ghana and across Africa.
The event will explore emerging AICCRA work on:
- A One Health Platform for Climate-Driven Pests and Diseases to deliver more optimal health outcomes for people, crops and the environment.
- Sustainable finance and the broadening of financial access to all social groups in Ghana, informed by the latest research on gender and social inclusion in agriculture and food systems.
- Innovative partnerships with private sector leaders to scale climate-smart agriculture and climate information services in Ghana.
