International Women's Day 2023

The theme of this year's International Women's Day is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.

The day highlights the role of innovative technology in promoting gender equality and meeting the health and developmental needs of women and girls.


Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) has teams in six focus countries across the African continent, working in partnership to scale climate information services and climate-smart agriculture, and increasing access to and use of CGIAR innovations by millions of smallholder farmers.

This latest edition of our podcast 'Climate Smart Agriculture' is released on International Women's Day 2023. Our host Mina Okuru explores how AICCRA teams and partners are enabling women across Africa to embrace climate information services and climate-smart agriculture for a more resilient future.
