Bio

What’s your role at AICCRA and the journey that led you here?   

I lead the AICCRA-Zambia team in the planning, implementation, and reporting on AICCRA's portfolio of activities in Zambia. These include but are not limited to: the implementation of the AICCRA-Zambia Accelerator, Innovation Internship Grant (I2G), Multistakeholder Dialogue Platform, Integrated Ag Data Hub, capacity strengthening of local partners involved in the design and delivery of climate information services, and enhancing the delivery thereof through various communication channels.

I'm a social scientist by training with a PhD in water and environmental governance). My focus is on strengthening environmental governance systems in East and Southern Africa. This supports the projects I lead by ensuring that the enabling environment for scaling climate smart agriculture is conducive.
I'm also the Regional Representative for IWMI's Southern Africa office as well as the CGIAR Country Convenor for South Africa, and leads several R4D regional projects and initiatives.

AICCRA focuses on delivering impactful R4D innovations in partnership with many local, national and regional partners. This allows for a conducive enabling environment for innovations to reach scale.
