Bio

What’s your role at AICCRA and the journey that led you here?

I lead AICCRA's network of communications specialists across Africa. We work to bring together our key partners through events, document and disseminate knowledge, and amplify messages to spur action, so that millions of African smallholder farmers access and use climate-smart agriculture. I also engage a global network of changemakers at events like COP27, to share lessons from AICCRA projects, so that policies and finance for climate adaptation in agriculture are truly transformative.

I have more than a decade of experience in communications at prestigious think tanks, universities, political parties and consultancies. I work at the nexus of research and communications, setting strategic direction, and translating results for key target audiences and influence global policy debates. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Global Politics.

Tell us why you think AICCRA can help deliver a climate-smart future for Africa?

AICCRA sets a new path for scaling tested and proven innovations developed by CGIAR and its partners over five decades. We discover how innovation can and should be packaged to deliver impact beyond the sum of its parts, and seek answers to fundamental questions of the economic, social and institutional contexts in which innovation can be transformative for smallholder farmers.
